Instability of 2nd octave E and G
For next lesson, I'd like to know how to compensate for a certain issue. With some reeds, the 2nd octave E and G are unstable. Holding down the low B flat key remedies this. Turning the reed over helps sometimes. Do you know of a permanent fix? Is it a simple adjustment to make? It only happens with these 2 notes... and only on certain reeds. (Oboe had a tuneup two months ago.)

@Erin Brophey Evidently this app is fully compatible with three browsers. I'll switch to one of them; hopefully that will solve the issue.

Your answer to my question yesterday about the topic of this thread has made a HUGE difference. It was the missing link I had been seeking for quite some time. I just hadn't been using the right terminology... which hindered this resolution. Asking/explaining yesterday in class and hearing your response... and putting it into use has me quite joyful with results today! THANK YOU!
Low note jump
Tips on how to play this jump (F to low Bb)? It is 152 tempo.

Definitely forked F, then drop the jaw as much as possible and max wind for the Bflat.
