Transcript: 0:01 So I wanted to take a minute and give you a quick tour of our community. Some of the features here are very obvious, and some are not. 0:12 So, when you first sign up, you'll, uh, you'll be in the community where you can post, respond, comment, like, and basically, basically communicate with everyone else in the group, and then you can go to the classroom where you've got different modules for different, uh, courses and, and things of that 0:38 nature. The gallery has, uh, some pictures of other boards that our members have produced. the main one that you're interested in. 0:48 And in the beginning is the playbook, it's got, uh, the rules, make sure that you read the rules. It's got the actual playbook, bonus articles, and the appendix that has your forms, other resources, and things of that nature. 1:07 And we have the, uh, the cheat code where you can actually get started and be profitable. Within just a day or two of signing up, so if that appeals to you, then just follow that. 1:19 And then the training call replays are here, and you can go back and listen to, uh, some of the previous recordings that we have. 1:30 Next is the calendar, where you'll see posted, uh, Zoom meetings that we have, and we have happen to have one this coming Monday. 1:40 So to join it, all you have to do is click the link and you'll be directed there. Members, I won't show you because I'm in the admin mode, and, uh, you'll see some information that maybe you shouldn't. 1:54 The leaderboard is, um, basically how, how much you're going to be participating. How many likes and, uh, comments and things like that. 2:07 And then the about page is where you signed up that, uh, tells you about the group and where mine says settings yours would have a, uh, join now. 2:17 So all these things are pretty well highlighted and pretty obvious, but a couple of things that are not are right up there. 2:25 Here, this is the chat where you can, uh, chat with other members and when you should have gotten, uh, an automated message from me when you signed up. 2:36 This is where your notifications are, where you get notifications, not just from this group, but from other groups as well. 2:44 And one thing that's not real obvious that's helpful to a lot of people is if you go to in your room. 2:49 Go your profile and go to your settings and then to notifications, you can change the frequency and, uh, just the general defaults of how, you know, how you get notifications and how often. 3:05 So, a lot of people don't know about that. They get annoyed by the notifications, but this is where you turn them off or change them. 3:12 Let's just go to settings. Settings and notifications. That's all. And let me go back. And then one other thing that's not real obvious is the search bar. 3:28 And this is very helpful, like, if you wanted to find, uh, information about restaurants. If you type in restaurants, it'll give you all the instances of restaurants being mentioned in the community and also in the classroom and members. 3:50 So, if you wanted to find all of the instances of owners, you've got nine, slash room, modules and four community mentions. 4:05 So, if there, if you have a question, try the search first, and if you don't find the answer there, then just go to the community and ask it in here and you can get an answer, not just from me, but from other members as well. 4:23 So, that's a little tour of the, the community. BTW, I don't supply either markers or easels/stands to restaurants.

I don't recall mentioning time of day in the playbook. We've probably talked about it on some of the calls. The only recommendation I have about time of day is to call on restaurants at, or close to mealtime. If you go to a restaurant between 2 and 4, like everyone thinks is the best time, you probably won't catch the owner. They usually look for excuses to leave during slow times. Most of the best restaurants I've personally set up were at lunch. If you have something they like, they'll listen for a couple of minutes. You may have to come back later to get the referrals and agreement, but you can get a commitment anytime.
