Have you ever tried fly fishing? There I was, standing knee-deep in the river, trying to remember which fish liked which fly. Was it the tiny fly for fish that nibbled on the surface? Or the bigger ones that sank and drew in those hefty trout? It's quite the puzzle, and let me tell you—it’s way more complicated than it sounds! I realized this isn’t just about fishing. It’s exactly how we should approach our audiences as entrepreneurs. Just like those fish, potential clients have preferences—you need to know what they want to bite. Do they prefer one-on-one time or group sessions? Maybe they just want a binge-worthy course they can devour at their own pace. Your success hinges on figuring out their needs. Remember, it's all about the right bait. Got me thinking... Are you using the right bait for your audience? Your content needs to stick, make them say "wow," and not scroll past. The big fish—or in our case, customers—are only caught when you offer up exactly what they're craving. Think about it: using the right bait can reel in those big opportunities. (See what I did there? 👆🏻😂) So, what's your bait gonna be?

Step 1: Email your previous Customers Step 2: Ask them to write a review Step 3: Repeat as needed 😉 In all seriousness, let this be your sign to reach out to customers you’ve worked with and ask them to write a review for you. They can’t say yes if you don’t ask. ☺️

UPDATE! Change of Strategy! I’m planning to launch my YouTube Channel instead of TikTok. I currently have no followers and am starting from scratch…I want to use the channel to not only document my Journey but to promote the Selling Online event and my own offers as I build them out? Any Suggestions, Advice, or Strategies for me if you were starting all over with a clean slate?

@Jon Pakula this is great! Here are my recommendations: 1. Verify your account (settings>channel>feature eligibility). This will allow you to upload videos longer than 15 minutes. This will also allow you to go LIVE and apply for monetization as well. 2. Add keywords to your account. VidIQ is a good resource to help you find the best ones. 3. Channel art is good to have. You can easily design these in canva. I'm an advocate for using all social media platforms (especially since it's free marketing for you) 😂. So I would encourage you to take your long form content (youtube videos) and cut them up into shorter clips and distribute to all your platforms (including youtube shorts). 1 video on 1 platform can get you a lot of views. Imagine how many more views you'll get if you take that same video and share to TikTok, IG, etc. Congratulations on your new channel! Very proud of you!
