@Anthony Sanna Yeah, I think you will like that! These aren't bad tools necessarily but I think there are cheaper options out there that offer similar or even better features.

@Matthew Setter Hi Matthew! Yeah, I feel you, switching platforms is always a bit of a struggle at first. But maybe Kit isn't just the best fit for you. Here are 5 really good ESPs and a brief summary: - ActiveCampaign: Offers advanced automation and CRM features, making it suitable for businesses seeking comprehensive email marketing solutions. - MailerLite: Known for its user-friendly interface and affordability, it provides essential email marketing tools ideal for small businesses and beginners. - Brevo (formerly Sendinblue): Provides a very affordable and robust platform, catering to businesses looking for multi-channel communication options (e.g. live chat, SMS). - GetResponse: Features a wide range of marketing tools, including webinars and landing pages, suitable for businesses aiming for an all-in-one marketing platform. - Omnisend: Tailored for ecommerce businesses, it offers specialized features like product recommendations and cart abandonment emails to boost sales. Find more details here (my website): https://www.emailtooltester.com/en/email-marketing-services/ Let me know if you have any further questions!

Hi @Doug Dennison, do you wanna share a LinkedIn post that I/we can then repost?

Xmas slowdown...
So lab mates... I'm gonna start winding down for the festivities now, posting less often, and going into hybernation mode. I'll be back to full swing in 25 to kick off the new year with DAILY video tips for you to supercharge your email growth. Mon 6th Jan onwards. I'll post the occassional thing between now and then, but less about email, and more about being festive and jolly! ๐ŸŽ„ BUT, if you need me, I'm here, any time, so ping me a DM and I'll come back to you. Have an awesome Xmas and new year, and thank you BIG TIME for joining my community, it means the world, and I want to support you the best I can into the new year.

Lightbox effect for lead magnet banners
To promote our lead magnets (free PDFs, checklists, etc.), weโ€™ve started using a banner with a lightbox effect on EmailTooltester. I think itโ€™s pretty cool because itโ€™s not too disruptive, yet it still manages to grab your attention for a brief moment (see video). Just wondering what you think of it?

Hey everyone, do you use any special page builders or just standard WP? I think creating it for regular WP would not be too difficult. However it becomes more complex if it needs to work with Elementor etc.
Where do you find time?!
As a business owner, I would looooove to get great at email copy...but when do we have time between actually running the business and being home with family, etc? And even if we have time, what's the right approach, cadence, etc? This intro series, that nurture sequence, soap operas and seinfelds...is it easier to just hire a full time copywriter in house? contract it out? AI/GPT?! would love to hear success stories.

We work a lot with freelance writers. It's hit-and-miss sometimes but once you've found someone who understands your brand, it's fantastic. Needless to say, you first need to define your brand's voice.
