First Q&A Takeaways
Shoutout to my man @Michael Martocci for hopping in the first Q&A call! Would love to see as many of you possible in next week! Posting some of the takeaways that may be useful for you all as well! Michael is helping a CEO build his personal brand and the goal is to get speaking engagements through the content. Biggest roadblock we keyed in on was lack of clarity on ideal viewer/customer and speaking to that in the content + developing an offer for that audience eventually TAKEAWAYS Identify your Ideal audience member/customer (this will give you plenty of ideas for your content & help connect to those that will eventually buy) - pain points - Desires - Fears - What do you know/have experience in that they want to know/experience What is the CEOs experience that has made him passionate about what he does and who he wants to help? - People need to know the story of how you got to where you are - not the techno babble of what you do “If you were to have a room filled with 1000 people who paid to listen to you speak, who are those people and what are you talking about?” An offer will develop from clarity on an ideal audience member and helping them take the new step in the transformation they desire that you can provide them

Yo
Hi my name is Jake Barnhill but I go by Tru Vers. I’m a music artist out of Omaha Nebraska. Luke has mentored me on lots of things in the past 6 years (including but not limited to music) and I’m excited to start making and putting out consistent, good quality content. I want to build an audience for my music and eventually become completely self-employed. I’m currently a college student but plan on dropping out to make music my full time. I know creating consistent, good quality social media content is what builds audiences in todays era so that’s something I’m willing to invest into

Very cool Jake! 🫡 artist game is not an easy one, I respect the grind. Curious why you plan on dropping out but haven’t? Parents?

AHhh I see. Well I'd stick it out too that makes sense.
I'll go first... so you don't have to
Hey, all! My name is Luke Reelfs and I'm a 25 year old from Omaha, Nebraska I had been making music for years seriously and even got the chance right out of high school to travel the country and do shows and speak/perform music A little over a year ago I got hired as a marketer for a local insurance company called Oracle here in Omaha. I knew a bit about content creation and video but not much... This started me on my journey and I took some courses and jumped in some programs and communities surrounding content creation. I became fascinated with it and loved the idea of building a personal brand and helping people through my unique skills and experiences and connecting with people all over the world who shared the same passions as I did I truly believe creating content and building an audience is one of the most INVALUABLE things that you can do. For your life, your business, your family. It impacts quite literally everything in an amazing way that not much else can I created a good amount of content and then fell off and stopped posting... But now I'm back and more than ready to consistently crush creating content and making an impact on those that God has called me to serve I'm currently daily releasing videos on Instagram and Tik Tok through the series/buildalong type of format. I have the goal of helping the insurance company I market for generate $1M through social media. It's been so fun and I've learned so much through doing it and can't wait to see what happens with it in the future. PS - your introduction doesn't have to be this long LOL, I'm just long winded and figured it'd be nice for you guys to get a good feel for who I am in case you have no idea 😂

Heck yes! Actually learned some things I didn't know before! happy to be hear and learn/help as much as I can. Totally agree with this thing we do as being invaluable.
I am a straight white male who likes women. My pronouns are suh and yuh 🫶🏼
Currently living in Tulsa, Oklahoma where I was born but I was raised in Pueblo, Colorado then moved to Blue Springs, Missouri around 2016. Last June I moved back to Tulsa to be near family and I got a job working as an in house content creator for an insurance brokerage. Pretty similar to Luke in that aspect but funny enough I don’t create for the insurance part as much I’m mainly focused on creating reels for the owner of the company. I guess you could say the niche is business advice, self improvement and people skills. I have full control of what kind of content I create for my client and he only has one goal.. get attention without sacrificing morales. Which rly sucks cuz I was gonna start him on feet finders first. My biggest flaw in having way to many interests and never being able to stick to one. Im a jack of all trades and a master of none. Creating content has been the longest thing ive stuck with thus far. - A little bit more about me im sarcastic and mainly at the worst times possible. sorry 🫡 not sorry - Played drums since I was 13 Im 29 now 🪦 havent been able to play drums since I lost all my instruments in a flood 2.5 years ago. - Coffee Enthusiast - managed two different coffee shops for 2 years - I’ve got a wife and two daughters (girl dad represent 🤙🏼 ) I always compare myself to other editors because I want to become better then them. “if no one is telling you how great you are at what you do, you aren’t as good as you think you are.” I have a lot of dreams but I’m still figuring out a lot. The more I keep doing this the closer I get to what that is. Learned so much freaking information the last year of grinding in this job description that is so much more vast then people can wrap their mind around. Happy to be here and continue learning 🙌🏼
