Sure, that’ll be $100!” Here’s the truth: you don’t charge for the hours you put in—you charge for the VALUE you bring. - If your work helps a company sell a product that makes them $100,000, is your time worth $100? Nope. - If you can deliver quality faster and better than someone else, is your work worth more? You bet. - If your skills make the client look like a rockstar to their boss, should you charge premium rates? 100%. So, next time you’re tempted to underprice yourself, remember: you’re not just making a model or an animation. You’re solving problems, driving results, and creating things most people can’t even imagine doing. The formula? What your work is worth → multiply it by 2 (because you’re probably underselling yourself) → add tax for the “I deserve this” fee.
