STEP 3: How To Unlock Bonuses Courses
I have created some more advanced trainings for you as your next steps once you have requirements met. These courses will help you with some advanced integrations, ”Cleaning Hacks” I’ve learned along the way, increasing revenue per customer, revenue per job, reducing time on site, getting more (and better) reviews. Your level is shown at the bottom right of your avatar. The number of points required to get to the next level is shown under your avatar on your profile page. Not sure what to post yet? Ask detailed questions, share your wins, offer advice and things you find to be working, share your breakthroughs! Post a gratitude post about a member that you have connected with who has inspired you, helped you, held you accountable. Don’t forget to give more, because you will certainly get more in return when you do… Like other people’s posts, comment on their posts, and like all their comments… This is how we ALL WIN TOGETHER! 🙌 Thank you for your contributions here. The more I see of this, the better and better I will be making the community and over delivering 🙏 ----- Ways To Unlock Everything ----- Ask questions, and tell me your problems you are facing in your company. I can only help if I know what is going on!

Travelling to other cities
Something that got brought up in a conversation I had with one of your classmates (thanks Jake!) was advertising and doing work in other cities. Our strategy is to book our clients in that city in back to back days. We drive there, complete the jobs and enjoy some time in the city, and the next morning we finish off the rest of the jobs and head back. (we stay the night at family or hotels) We communicate with the clients that we only go to that city to serve them, so they are willing to work with us to book all together. The one city we go to, the window cleaning jobs cover gas, food, and entertainment with some profit so it is essentially a holiday that pays for itself. We also do this with 2 more locations that are solely for profit. We grab a nice supper after to help break up the routine of cleaning windows near home.

Acquiring clients + reoccurring customers
So I want to acquire more clients. I plan on D2D. I have a problem however. I haven’t had a single reoccurring customer and I wanted to know what yall are doing to keep customers buying. A specific thing yall do during the service? How you perform highest quality? How you reach out post-job? Thanks so much!

Starting this business is a brand-new adventure for me, and I can’t wait to see where this journey takes me. My goal is not only to provide top-quality service but also to learn and grow in this industry. As I gain experience, I hope to share my knowledge with others who are interested in starting their own business in this field. Thank you for your support as I take on this exciting new chapter.

Fabricating Debris
We clean a lot of windows after construction is done. One of the most common questions clients ask us is, “You’re not going to scratch the glass, right?” We’re happy to say, “No, we don’t scratch glass.” But not all window cleaners can say the same. Some know glass can scratch if you use a scraper. Others might know which glass is safe to scrape and which isn’t. But do they know why some glass is okay and some scratches easily? Here’s the explanation: Most glass used today is tempered. Tempered glass is heated during its making, which makes it stronger and safer to use. Here’s something glass manufacturers don’t like to talk about: Properly tempered glass won’t scratch if you use a good razor blade. Tempered glass is very tough! A skilled window cleaner with a quality razor blade can safely clean off paint, adhesive, mortar, and other debris from the glass after construction. Razor blades are the best tool for this job, giving the best results. But here’s the catch: For tempered glass to stay smooth and scratch-free, it needs to be cleaned before it’s heated. Glass manufacturers are supposed to clean raw glass using special machines before tempering it. The process should go like this: The glass is cut, cleaned on both sides, and then tempered. If done right, the glass is strong and smooth, and it can be scraped safely with no worries. The problem is that manufacturers don’t always take care of their cleaning machines. The brushes that clean the glass can get dirty and full of tiny glass bits and dust. When this happens, the glass isn’t cleaned properly. Tiny glass particles and dirt stay on the surface, and then the glass is heated. During tempering, these particles stick to the surface and create flaws. These flaws, called “fabricating debris,” are often invisible. The average person might not notice them. But if an untrained window cleaner uses a scraper on this kind of glass, the flaws can cause scratches. As the scraper moves, it drags the stuck particles across the surface, leaving scratches behind.

I was promised a PDF sent to my email?
You sure were! And its coming! I Guarantee not to send you anything via email other than that PDF unless I explicitly get your permission otherwise! Now there may be an exception that SKOOL sends emails about activity in groups you are in. That is NOT me actively sending you emails, that is the SKOOL platform. You guys are all extremely early to this community! I look forward to the growth with all of you 😎

Welcome to the Community!
For some of you who have requested to join nearly 200 days ago, this is a weird surprise to get accepted now. The reality is, I wash windows for a living and have to prioritize that over this educational guide. Now that the snow is covering absolutely everything and window cleaning season has come to an end, I can finally commit the time and effort this community will need!

Economics
What I want to say is that the income I am able to achieve is 100% affected my location, number of competitors and local economic power. This course is what has worked for me. I cannot guarantee that you will make the same as what we have been able to make. But! If there is a market for window cleaning in your area: 1) Is there dirty windows 2) Do people spend money outside of their basic needs Then taking this information and using it to boost you ahead with a decade of our mistakes and victories will probably help😁

Delay in the progress of this classroom
This window season has been quite different for me than the last 5 years. The owner of the company (as required from his other career) No longer is working the same amount of hours washing windows. Which meant for me that my workload nearly doubled. As a result, I neglected this classroom. Expect slower development of the material for the next two months as the end of the season is the busiest for my location.

Window cleaning statistics (US Bureau of Labor Statistics)
12,244 window cleaners are employed in the US According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics The average age of an employed window cleaner is 44 years old The US window cleaning market size is $2B (per year) A average window cleaner’s salary in the United States is $38,200 ($51,708 CAD) The window cleaner’s salary ranges from $34,583 to $42,967 ($46,812 to $58,161 CAD) This is easy to achieve and does not take much additional effort to vastly surpass. This is likely data from employees who work in window cleaning companies and not people who do it themselves. More data that this does not include is the number of hours worked. Many window cleaners make 100$+ per hour. at 35k a year, that is only 350 hours worked. Which is only 9 weeks of 40 hours per year, then doing absolutely nothing. Which is what a lot of people do in this industry, they work hard, but do not work full time. You technically only need to do this part time to pay your bills. (once you have learned the skills of course)

I am Building out the Tutorial sections
I decided that even though my target audience for this course is window cleaners who already know how to wash windows and use equipment, I wanted to create some classrooms as though it was for training my own staff from the absolute beginning. I am taking the best YouTube tutorials and adding extra information that I deem necessary. Eventually I will record my own videos on each subject but until then, I will utilize the best resources I can find.

WELCOME!!! Insight into Classroom and our structure
The free course is in the classroom. You will notice most courses are locked, I am building two systems in parallel and will be documenting them in the "Building the course" section. 1. Scaling up the main company: I am figuring out a way to get the company I work for (window cleaning) past the 200k per year revenue consistently. 2. Content education and help: Building out the classroom with all the education required to build your own independent business to the 100k net profit mark. I will be documenting as I go. Right now my main income is on the business itself so the majority of my time will be devoting to there as the season begins. Future content I am trying to implement 1.Strategies and systems from other companies: perhaps in the form of direct video calls or the data I collect from them (they will be credited in the respective module). Head over to the introduction page and introduce yourself! The more I and the community know about you, the more we can give you solutions tailored to your specific problems! When posting, make sure to post in the specific category so others and myself can sort through and help the most people.

What is going on here?
My name is Dalton, I am an operator (think of a manager that also does the work) in a window cleaning company in Northern Alberta (Canada). There are only 2 (Now 3) people that work in the company, my boss and myself. [IMPORTANT UPDATE] This information is false! I finally got access to all the books and we do not clear the 100k per year mark, it was total over the first 4 years combined. We are on year 6 now {Outdated: Our window cleaning company has done over $100k (72,794.33 USD) Gross for the last 4 years, with this year clearing the $170k mark. (I don't have the net at the time of writing this but it is likely at 100k net revenue) } With the update about that out of the way, What I intend for this community is to share and build (with you) a proof based business plan to earn $100,000 net take home (after tax) for window cleaning company OWNERS. Some of this content will be free, and some will be paid. I will be sharing our pricing guides, marketing strategies, offer packages, services provided, quoting systems, the equipment I use, and everything that has gotten our company to the point where it is today. I will provide updates on experiments we are running and any of their successes and failures. This goal is not for the employees to make $100k net per year (FOR NOW). The goal still includes employees being paid very well, and hopefully better than anywhere else in the market. (which means they stay with you) it is not the core focus of my plan at the moment Your involvement is extremely valuable. Use what this community provides to get to the 100k Net baseline, then choose to either maintain that income, or work with us to uncover the business strategies that will get everyone to 200k per year, then 300k, and so on. I understand that to create a small, hyper-profitable window cleaning companies it would take me decades of trial and error to uncover and build all components necessary to do so. But utilizing a private community that shares our errors, tests, and successes will turn those decades into only a few years, or perhaps months.
