Roses bloom at their own pace. The environment and amount of care the rose is given determines the pace at which it grows. As long as the rose is cared for, it will bloom. Beautifully. I've been working on WRB for a little over 4 years. Since the birth of my daughter. I was functionally navigating postpartum, PTSD, anxiety and a late ADHD diagnoses. Not realizing that everyday I was closer to my breaking point. Even with people around me, I felt like no one could possibly understand and immediately label me something I wasn't. I didn't feel like I had a safe space, so I made one. I started being more open with my daily struggles, thoughts that hindered me, being so self-aware that you know you need help but now knowing how to get it. Doing so, I found others who face similar obstacles. Today, I choose to use my personal and professional experiences to help others find a safe space and the comfort I did to navigate life and focus more on what I can control.
