Imagine this: for 10,000 years of human history, we’ve been chained to the ground by one thing—location.
When I was a kid, my mom ran a real estate business. She owned a cozy little office in downtown Griffin, GA. Every day, she’d drive to that office, hustle, and close deals. But if we dared to take a vacation—say, a week in Florida—business would grind to a halt. She’d miss opportunities, and because of that, vacations were rare, almost taboo.
Fast forward to now. For the past four years, I’ve lived in Puerto Rico and traveled the globe, all while wholesaling and flipping houses back in the United States. I’ve broken free. I’m untethered. We’re living in a remarkable era, a moment in history unlike anything our parents or grandparents could fathom. A time when humanity has been given wings.
Think about it: we can now conduct business from anywhere—whether it’s next door or halfway across the world. Forty years ago, this lifestyle was reserved for titans of industry. Today, it’s available to nearly everyone. Even the receptionist. The boundaries have crumbled, and for the first time, we’re free to explore, to immerse ourselves in different cultures, economies, and experiences. We’re free to fly.
Now, close your eyes and imagine waking up tomorrow. You feel something unfamiliar on your back. You run to a mirror and gasp—there they are. Massive eagle wings. A gift, unlike anything humanity has ever known. You suddenly understand you can soar higher than you ever dreamed. You’ve been given the ultimate freedom: mobility.
But here’s the big question: will you spread those wings and fly, or will you stay on the couch and binge Netflix? The choice is yours.
