Exactly 7 days ago I posted in the chat that I was after my Law firm to integrate/associate my company with.
I’m happy to say as of yesterday we acquired said Law firm (another Multi-billion dollar firm) to the team, and they have allowed us “flexibility of billing’s” or deferred fees whichever you choose.
Within the interview I had 2x partners on the meeting that I was pitching. They do this to intimidate/bullshit detect your synergy.
I handled them well, and reinitialised the meeting in my favour and making it as if I’m interviewing them.
I stated:
- what our business is/how we are going to do it/differentiate.
- What we are looking for form the firms we are interviewing: i.e; a team that can take us to the next level of growth// match our passion and mission// and be flexible on billing’s.
all firms you speak to have templates they follow. They all fucking do, so don’t be hesitant to fire back and call them for their bullshit if they say no. They did for me, but I’ve heard it before and leveraged my previous accounting firm being flexible. This handled the objection of “it’s hard to get deferred fees approved”.
