Anyone know a good lawyer?
Hey lads, Found myself in a bit of strife from someone owing money. Not what we want. Thought this group would be a good place to ask for any connections. Thanks in advance for any help 🙏🏼

It’s worth mentioning. Laywers don’t have a set guideline system for commercial litigation/deal makings. Price is negotiable, circumstances are negotiable. Some firms even say “no win no fee” basis. But you’ll only get this if you have the balls to ASK. I did and now I’m reaping the rewards by deferring hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of fees

Yeah fortunately those are the circumstances. Hence if you believe that you’re in the right and the documents are a win then follow through with QCAT. If you want to further extend and potentially take some more money out of this guys pocket to cover that initial expense. You could risk reaching out to a litigation lawyer that specialises in your industry (only a partner of the firm) and allow them to give oversight and further fight the case for you. But that comes at a cost aswell. It just comes down to how badly you want the money and what you’re willing to sacrifice to obtain it. Marco has great insight and his point is valid in mentioning the “is it worth it” take. Yes there’s a signed agreement. But how much initial time and effort did you expend on the deal? Etc etc

October Goals Accountability
Ok team, so we didn't quite hit all of our goals... I dont want to make excuses I should have worked harder and/or more efficient to do so, but im going to post the results below to keep me accountable and make my next months goals reflected on that. - $1,000,000 in signed landscape contracts > I signed $769,454 in October, this is a short fall of over 230k which is not good.. I did learn one good lesson here though, I can hit this goal by adjusting a few systems to get more proposals out but, I truly dont have the infrastructure to handle this much work at the current moment, there is a bottleneck on Service Delivery, so this is a main focus on this months goal so I can sustain this coming into the new year. - m2 price sheet estimating spreadsheet built out > This has been completed & has completly changed the way we send our proposals to customers. The average Quote processing time for September (prior to implementing these sheets) was 2.5 hours on average to complete a quote, now its 1.2 hours! This can essentially double our amount of proposals out to customers 🔥 - 10% net profit on constructed projects > Due to all of our projects being over a month timeline we cannot see these results until project completion which is estimated December - 30 Venture Hub members > This is defiantly an area I neglected lately, no excuses I will focus on improving this moving forward. - Hit 90kg weight > We hit this on the day! 💪

First post
Hello everybody! I met Kyle and he kindly invited me in earlier this month which I’m very grateful. I haven’t posted yet so I thought best before the month rolls over. My overarching goal is to grow my new online business. It’s a platform I created that’s lets me scale online personal training. As a one man team I have definitely made a lot of mistakes and a lot more work for myself than necessary while juggling all the different tasks. My biggest struggle is choosing where to put my energy. Whether that’s content creation, streamlining sales process, paid marketing, building rapport with clients or product refinement. Having no internet at home isn’t helping right now either. I’m honestly very inspired by all of you and would like to get more involved with this group and start adding value back however we I can. From next month I will share my tasks/goals and look forward to smashing through them with this extra accountability 💪🔥

Great to see you post! I’d say that a first step/process you should follow would be to find someone who’s in a position that you would like to be in, via the content space or somthing similar to your niche. And copy what they’ve done/how they started. Makes like 10x easier for you and you can avoid those big mistakes! Me personally I’d say to double down on adding value to yourself/product you’re selling. (Your the product and your skill set is the service) and then learn where to best focus it via your mentors business structure.
