What is essential to be a profitable trader (Important topic)

Everywhere in social media we see the luxury lifes of traders. They can get everything and dont worry about nothing. I dont really like the way it is presented, showing that trading is easy and you just need to follow only his/her trading groupin telegram or instrgram and you will be rich in few days.

What I am really wondering, what is essential for becoming profitable. I am struggling with emotions and rules. I do know that they should be and try to follow them and the trading plan is also done, but later in the trading day it becomes really crazy and it goes somewhere in other direction.

What you could advise on that? Can you share you thoughts and experience on that topic?
