Who are you using for your STR insurance?
I have a property in Bradenton, FL. I would like to use this property for STR and MTR. But my biggest issue right now is the cost of the insurance. Currently, I have a landlord policy with hurricane coverage. This is great for 30+ day stays, but not STR. I received a couple quotes seeking STR coverage. Steadily was at $10,458 with hurricane and Proper was at $13,268 with hurricane. My standard landlord policy with hurricane is just $2,300.
Does anyone else have property in Florida and what are you currently paying for your STR insurance?
