I can handle this. I'm here. I've got you.
I can handle this. I'm here. I've got you.
Self-confidence is not rigid or detached. That's a mask that immature men wear to protect themselves.
Self-confidence is generated by repeatedly opening up to experience what is happening in your body.
What a paradox. The strongest men are the ones who learn to be vulnerable, surrender, and open.
To be witnessed. To be held. To trust another man and learn to open your heart.
Men on the outside have no idea what they are missing. They must be initiated.
They anxiously twist, force, and hurt themselves, trying and pushing and struggling to overcome and heroically concur their life.
The men who find their way to The Unshakable Man discover their power is found by opening.
It's so opposite of what our culture says.
But when men sit together, they can feel it, especially if a man like me invites them deeper.
This past weekend was the culmination of a lifetime of work. 39 years.
The ease. The grace. The power. The joy. All emotions are welcome here.
These men learned to work with their shadow and to awaken their inner Unshakable Man.
I can feel the energy of my personal practice, allowing me to hold these spaces.
This past year was a year of expansion. Learning to host these amazing retreats.
It's been a fantastic labor of love.
I am so profoundly thankful for all the men who have stepped forward.
My fiance @anna_michele_ prepared amazing meals. I often cried as I realized we were doing this together. She was making this work possible in so many ways. All of the work I've done and we've done together was making this possible.
My friend Dr. Chris Spromberg @amomentamile stood by my side. I've witnessed this man finding his gifts and opening to new levels of authenticity. I feel his trust in me and appreciate his direction and feedback each step of the way.
We returned to our home location @bellvalleyretreat to host our 3rd retreat of the year.
The men who showed up had never met. They came from all around.
In four days, their entire bodies and faces changed.
Releasing stress, anxiety, trauma, and fear - opening their hearts and unleashing their inner Unshakable Man. Many men will never have an opportunity like this.
The world needs more men to cross this threshold.
I am returning home full with an open heart and a fierce focus on my personal practice.
This year taught me that it's time to take what I've learned and to make it more accessible so more men can open their hearts. I can feel in my body how these retreats and all of the work inside the Unshakable Man community have been preparing me to make this transition.
I can handle this. I'm here. I've got you.
Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.
I'm looking forward to sharing what comes out.
