Welcome To The Psychology of Money:
When it comes to our relationship with money,
most of us are still stuck in the stone age.
Since the last financial markets meltdown in 2008, we have been constantly and relentlessly barraged by information and warnings from financial experts about our financial health.
Despite all these warnings, most of us are in terrible financial shape.
The question is why?!?
It turns out that as humans,
we are just not wired to do the right things around money—such as saving and not overspending.
It's why financial success remains so elusive for so many of us, and why it remains so difficult to attain.
And while our brains are incredibly powerful and complex computers, as psychologists and neuroscientists and behavioural economists studying the psychology of money, we know that when it comes to our financial instincts, we are no more evolved than our ancestors who hunted the Sabre Tooth Tigers 400,000 years ago.
It's the reason why we created The Psychology of Money.
