The Only Time I'm Going to Do This
So much of my motivation for building this Skool community comes from the liars and cheats. The ones telling people that they can get rich overnight, that side hustles are easy, that you can learn anything in seven days. Success is not an overnight affair, and everything worthwhile takes time. Patience and perseverance are the keys to achieving your goals. One thing almost all of these people do, and I've bought courses to see this firsthand, is using "evidence" as filler. They'll do a twenty-minute video on some topic you need to know, and seventeen minutes of the video are the stories of all the people they've worked with and subsequently made wealthy. "Like Tim, who was stuck in a dead end job, and in week two of working with me was making $9,000 a day." Get wrecked. This is what people who don't know and haven't had success themselves do. I hate it. So, I will not, under any circumstance, spend any time "selling" my wins to establish pseudo-authority. My sole focus here is to provide you with the knowledge and tools to succeed without any distractions. So, one time and one time only, I will list out my successes and some of the reasons I feel qualified to tell people how to build better businesses. Deal? So here they are: Hi, my name is Kerry Morrison πŸ‘‹. Nice to meet you. My "stats": βœ… My best freelance year, I made $345,000 ( important to me, I took three months off to stay sane ) βœ… My best sales year was $25M βœ… I've helped raise $137M for a range of startups βœ… Largest company I've run, 184 people βœ… Next year will be my 26th in marketing and startups βœ… I've exited two companies That will be the only time I use this information inside this community, and I hope it has helped. πŸ˜€

Your Free Books
I'm committed to making everyone who joins this community better. Better at marketing, better at sales, better at business. So, just for joining, I'm going to buy you two of my favorite books from a selection that have helped me the most in my career ( and in my life ). They're digital copies in .epub format, so you can read them in the Kindle app ( on your phone, tablet, computer or Kindle ) or Apple Books. I buy digital copies because they're easier to distribute ( I don't need your home address ). Sorry for those, who like me, love paper books, this is the future. So head over to this link to choose the books you'd like, and I'll get them to you ASAP.

Two Skills That Will Keep You Employed Forever
Does your job have a future? Not in the soul-crushing, "every day feels like forever" sense. Will your job still exist in five or ten years? Or could it vanish, replaced by a machine, cheaper labor, or new technology? How sure are you? Are you willing to bet your future on it? We are in a time of massive, life-changing upheaval. AI, automation, and outsourcing are all reshaping how we work. But here's what gives me hope: While technical skills become obsolete and entire industries transform overnight, human psychology hasn't changed in thousands of years. And that's where the real opportunity lies. Two fundamental skills will always be valuable, no matter what changes come: Marketing: The ability to create desire in people. Think about it - every successful thing you've ever bought started with desire: - That coffee you had this morning - The phone you're watching this on - The last course you took to improve yourself And Sales: The ability to build trust and guide people to decisions that serve them. Because actual sales aren't about pushing products - it's about: - Understanding what people truly need - Building genuine connections and trust - Helping people overcome their fears and hesitations - Guiding them to decisions they'll thank you for later These skills work everywhere: - Starting your own business? You'll need to connect with customers personally - Working in tech? You'll need to guide stakeholders through complex decisions - Joining a startup? You'll need to sell your ideas to teams and investors - Moving up in any company? You'll need to market yourself and sell your value Whether you work for someone else or yourself, these are the skills that ensure you'll always be able to create value - and get paid for it. The good news? Neither is rocket science. With time and focused effort, you can build a foundation to serve you for life. Because the truth is, jobs may come and go. But the ability to create value and convince others of that value?
