I’m really excited to get this community going and I want to kick it off with a scam warning. I’m passionate about social media marketing and have the great luck of managing dozens of client FB Ads Manager accounts, so when I started seeing messages like this, “Important Notification: Your Facebook page is scheduled for permanent deletion due to a post that has infringed upon our trademark rights. We have reached this decision after a thorough review and in accordance with our intellectual property protection policies” I was very concerned.
If you‘ve gotten this message or something like it, don’t worry, it is fraudulent. If you are a marketer and managing a clients Ad Account, be sure to reach out to your them and assure them that everything is going to be ok.
Also, I added a really helpful link to Meta’s full document on advertising rules in case you need help sleeping….it’s super boring.
