Our planet is heading to calamity. Every day we read about very unnatural disasters wreaking havoc. Sadly all that has been shown to us are the horsemen of the apocalypse: migration, famine, drought, health issues, climate injustice, and armed conflict. Many have since turned to apathy and denialism.
We as creatives have the responsibility to paint pictures of better futures. We need dreamers, believers, the whimsical storytellers to join forces as #planetwriters in order to tip the scales.
Influencing just 25% of the population will cause a social tipping point, pushing that teetering boulder over the cliff, resulting in systemic behavioural change.
With this community, we can teach, inform, persuade, entertain, and encourage through incisive literary activism. This platform is designed for collective intelligence, collaborative learning, and open, safe spaces to allow learning the of the English language in order to tip the scales through creative narratives.
