The opportunity of cart visits...
Cart visiting time is so important and nobody's tracking it. Nobody's looking at it.
Cart abandonment is not a bad thing, it's data.
If someone visits their cart often, they clearly want the thing, but 'something' is holding them back.
What I do is get on the phone with them, find out what's going on in their life, find out what's got them fence sitting.
Then I, on the fly, right there on the phone, rework the wording of the same offer, crafted to fit the multiple facets of their life.
AI can't do this, not yet, not even a little bit. (this part of the post probably won't age well).
You can't hear tonality over DM.
A phone call is your secret weapon here, ...to help them, sincerely.
You'll be doing something that most marketers ever do, you'll be listening to your prospect who most forget is a human being with a complex life.
Don't be shy to give out your number.
If you're creating great content (content that solves one or more of their problems) then you'll get calls and it won't feel like pulling teeth.
Now go out there and be somebody!
I love you,
Derek Soto
