If there’s some big thing you’re considering, try a small version of it before you go all in.
You wouldn’t marry someone before you went on at least one date.
As an example, don’t quit your job and become a full-time writer if you don’t currently write. It may *sound* romantic. But it’s hard. Write here and there. Build up your writing muscle. Start in the time you do have. See if you like it when it’s hard and difficult and no one knows who you are. Build up momentum.
Go on a teeny-weeny date with this thing you were considering marrying.
