In November I was stuck at 44,000 followers. I was stuck at this point for almost a year straight and it felt like all the hard work wasn't paying off. Here are a few things that I've learned through this process.
1.) Engagement and Community Building is everything: Actively engage with your audience by responding to comments, DMs, and participating in relevant conversations within your niche. Building a sense of community around your content can help foster loyalty and encourage word-of-mouth growth. Without this, people won't want to keep coming back to watch your content.
2.) Content Creation: Create high-quality and engaging content that resonates with your target audience. This could include photos, videos, stories, reels, or IGTV episodes. Consistency is key, so aim to post regularly and maintain a cohesive aesthetic or theme for your profile.
3.) Stay Authentic and Genuine: Be authentic and genuine in your interactions with your audience. People are more likely to follow and engage with accounts that feel authentic and relatable. Relatable content ultimately means more shares, which down the road means more engagement. The more engagement you have, the more eyes you have on your content and the algorithm picks up on that.
Growing on Instagram is hard. Really hard. But you must stay on the path towards greatness. Define your goals and keep hammering away. Feel free to ask me anything, I'd love to help.
