@Christopher Tavolazzi did a live on TikTok this weekend where he took one of his stories and made it into a choose your own adventure stories with images using ChatGPT o.1. He read the story out loud and then allowed the viewers to choose what would happen in the story. The viewers were funny. It was a lot of fun. I decided to try this with my sixth grader and prompted ChatGPT to “choose your own adventure story for a sixth grader. We want a fantasy based story about a teen warrior and a unicorn. Can you give us options and then answer them to create the story please?“ The prompts were great at using sixth grade comprehension and vocabulary. Gave two options and a riddle question which I thought was really cool. It gave eight options and then gave an ending without requesting to stop the story. She really liked it, we talked after about what we would want to add or change next time. We will be doing this again.
