WOD 💫 #14
Word of the Day: Perennial 🌸
This is the antonym of one of the WODs that I’ve shared here. Find it and drop it in the comments ✍️
Meaning: Lasting or existing for a long time; enduring or continually recurring. In botany, a plant that lives for more than two years.
Use in a sentence: The debate over the best SAT study strategies is a *perennial* topic among students. 🗣️
Trick to Remember: Think of “perennial” as per (through) + annual (year)—something perennial lasts through many years, just like *perennial* plants that come back every year.
Now it’s your turn! Drop a sentence using “perennial” in the comments! 👇
