This is a test of the concept. But, it could be great for your communities
Create one worthwhile post a day
It could be about money, a mindset, or an insight. It could be funny, relatable, or sometimes odd and off-topic.
“
For today I had a couple calls with people playing the skool games
and what I will say is so obviously but true but I even forget it
**How you structure your ads or organic will curate the people who want to join your free group**
When someone is watching your content they will think:
"That could be cool to learn, see, or experience. It's free, so why not? It might be cool, might not be.
But, it has piqued my interest enough to do something instead of nothing."
This is your community created by your content.
It will set the groups’ topic variety and overall sophistication.
When they join
You can help people at least see the way you operate and how you connect the dots of data
Also, increase the group average by posting and helping others. Use your posts, the classroom, calls, events, and webinars to set the environment.
Then if your ads were in congruency with your offer It will make natural sense for them to become aware of it from:
- The classroom videos
- DM people to set calls
- Sell at the end of webinars
- sell in retargetting ads
- strategy sessions and much more
The % of the people from free to paid will be even higher because of how well the ad marketing message to the free group is
The average free-to-paid conversion for lower-ticket items is 10%. Increasing it to 16% is a 60% rise, not a 6%. So, ads just became a lot more profitable.
So how do you find ad marketing message?
by talking to people with your offer in mind. Also, listen to the issues they face to see how it all fits together
For example home service businesses will ALWAYS need more leads -> to get more estimates -> to get more jobs
Marketers can often get leads easily. But, what do home service businesses REALLY want?
They want more estimates. My marketing message is better. I offer estimates, not leads. One word alone changed my results.
The only thing is that estimates take more work than just getting leads. Someone has to call or text to set that up, qualify the lead, and book it on a calendar.
All my clients do this instead. They like it because they're learning a skill. I teach them this from the classroom courses, weekly sales call reviews, and follow-up automations.
They actually like it because they’re learning the skill of sales 😮 at the same time while getting more work
At my peak, I had 54 clients at $998/mo while running my floor coating business. I should have kept going to see the cap, or hire a team to sell more. Total idiot moment on my part. But, at the new year, I will go as high as I can without these blocks
Here’s the formula
- Create a strong marketing message. Use your offer and your ideal clients' feedback.
- Curate the right community for sales of course. But, also for group quality. Even for the people in free groups. "So you leave them better off than you found them." -Alex
- Create an offer using the value equation that resonates with or enhances your marketing message. You must be able to fulfill it.
- Get a couple clients & learn to fulfill
- Scale while knowing your numbers and ideally financially frugal
- Hire for the role that takes the most time but isn't worth it. Or, you're still bad at it despite trying to improve.
- Repeat and strategize for what you want to optimize for in life, higher business leverage, more free time
- Do this until you’re tired of the game
So that’s the test I wanted to run today, and if it’s good, I’ll do it again tomorrow. Was this a worthwhile post?
