My Problem With champs

I really enjoy lol but I struggle with my champ pool so far, my only 2 champs I'm confident with are Yuumi and Xerath (don't like playing Xerath sup) but I want to add to the pool a lot of people here have just said stick to one pick and learn another artillery champ mid but I don't enjoy it I really like Azir zed and Kayle and I would like to know what kind of suggestions people have for me? I like safe laners that have a lot of pressure late game.
