I asked my TikTok contact if having a link in our bio that goes to anywhere off TikTok would lead to a violation. Her reply: You can have a link in your bio. You should not redirect audiences to your link in bio on a shop video or you will recieve a Redirecting Traffic violation. You can do so on a video without a product anchored to it and you shouldn't receive a violation.

What should I do- I just got a volition bc they said I have a minor in my video and it’s my sister that is 21 she just LOOKS young!! How do we appeal this? This is crazy

Another tidbit from that TikTok Event: If you get a violation and you think it was in error, contact the product’s store to request assistance. They can contact the TikTok representative that handles their store (who can pull more strings). Just be sure you include proof/explanation of why it was in error. It can’t just be ‘because’.
