This challenge is designed to guide you through the 5 foundational parts of the English accent with short, focused assessments each day. By the end, you’ll have a clear understanding of where your weaknesses lie and a solid plan to improve.

Here’s how it works:

Daily Assessments Guide

Day 1 Assessment:

📲 Start Recording: Open the Day 1 Assessment and record yourself saying all the sounds, words, and sentences for each of the 13 sounds listed.

☕ Take a Break: Once you've completed the recordings, take a break—grab a coffee or have a quick rest to clear your mind.

🎧 Review Your Recordings: When you're ready, listen to the recordings. Pay close attention to how you sound and identify any pronunciation issues.

📝 Identify Challenges: Use the workbook to assess which three sounds were the most difficult or unclear. Once you’ve identified the challenging sounds, move on to the next step.

🎥 Watch Pronunciation Videos: Watch the videos that explain how to properly pronounce the three sounds you struggled with. Practice along with the examples in the videos.

🗂️ Set Your Plan: After identifying the problematic sounds, use the workbook to create a plan for the week. Set up 5-minute daily practice habits for each sound to focus on improving those specific areas consistently.

Day 3: Diphthong Assessment

Day 4: Intonation and Word Stress

Day 5: Connected Speech + Bonus RP Accent Lesson

The final day covers connected speech (how words blend together in natural English). You’ll also get a bonus lesson on the RP British accent, which is a model of clear, prestigious English speech.
