I've been thinking about my papercuts and I've come to realize that the word "shame" is something we tend to ignore, but it's actually quite harmful. It exposes hidden aspects and hinders personal growth, especially when it comes to intelligence. It perpetuates societal stigmas and makes us question what it really means to be "smart." Despite having high GPAs and math scores in the past, I've always felt uncomfortable with the idea of not being smart. It used to affect how I interacted with my intelligent friends. However, I've reached a point where I've accepted my level of intelligence and I'm content with what I have.
