Intentional Scrolling [Special Method]
So, I know this is weird... But even though my entire business revolves around social media... I've had it off of my phone for a while now! But I needed to keep my finger on the pulse somehow... So now, around 6pm every night (as long as all work has been completed) I'll hop on TikTok, and Facebook Reels to see what's trending. The key here is scrolling with a real intention. I'm thinking of potential ideas for content all throughout the week... And then using this scroll time to find unique, entertaining, or trending ways to frame those ideas into videos with real viral potential. So far, I did this with 2 videos last week and one of them is my top performing TikTok on my new account! Try this out and happy scrolling!

New Content Theory
Hey guys, I had a thought today and wrote it down in my notes. This isn’t well written at all, just literally a ‘note to self’ that I thought might be valuable, so I decided to send this out. If you like this kind of post, let me know I can try to do more… (and structure them better, lol) Here’s the note: Theory to test this week: Short form social media caters to the viewer. And the viewer is scrolling to consume. I believe this because I consider myself to be an aggressive knowledge seeker. But when I’m on social media scrolling, I find myself skipping the super educational videos. Even when I save educational videos and come back to them, they don’t have the same impact as I feel they should because I’m looking at it on Instagram… Which leads me to my theory: Hook in > Buildup & Story > Frame the value nugget Instead of “Do this because I said so”… It becomes “I had this crazy realization today, xyz story, that led me to *this*” The *this* being the value. Plus, in general, when there is a story around something, we tend to remember it better. I will be posting my attempts at bringing this theory to life this week across IG, TikTok and YT Shorts (low followings), and will report back with my analytics.

Content = Easy
This is what my Sunday looks like... The only day I think about social media content. I get 10+ videos done within a few hours, just by staying focused on it. Here’s my process: 1) Review my past week & write down bullet points as potential content ideas Meetings I was on, notes I took, thoughts I had… 2) Turn those bullet points into a more structured piece of content 3) Film that content 4) Upload it for Brand Sharks ninja editor team to take care of For the longest time I thought that making content had to be hard… Bought $3,000 cameras… Spent thousands on film courses… Even paid a videographer to LIVE with me at one point! Just to come to this conclusion: iPhone on tripod + Cheap light (optional) (See photo below)
