God’s Promise

“Praise the Lord! (Hallelujah!) Blessed [fortunate, prosperous, and favored by God] is the man who fears the Lord [with awe-inspired reverence and worships Him with obedience], Who delights greatly in His commandments. His descendants will be mighty on earth; The generation of the upright will be blessed. Wealth and riches are in his house, And his righteousness endures forever.”

‭‭- Psalms‬ ‭112‬:‭1‬-‭3‬ ‭AMP‬‬

What this means:

When we do our part, God will do his part

1.) OUR PART- Obedience:

Live in fear (reverence) of Him
Delight (desire) to follow his commandments (his word)

2.) GODS PART- Favor & Blessings:

Our descendants (family tree) will be mighty (strong and powerful) on earth.
Wealth and riches will be given to us.
Our righteousness (virtue & prosperity- both physical and spiritual) with God will last forever (in this life and the next)

God has never broken a promise, and he won’t start now. He is the same yesterday, today, and forever! So, have hope, courage, and strength in knowing that God is ALWAYS FAITHFUL to us! The only question is: Will you be faithful to Him?
