Which type of domain should I use for my author site?

Hello Everyone,

I have a question for Book Launchers, but everyone else can add your thoughts if you like:

I would like to know which is better.

Create an author website based on my name, or...
Create an author website based on a publishing company name.

I keep going back and forth as to which path I should take. I want to use a publishing company domain as the author website. I could still make the website about me, but the domain would be the name of my publishing company. How would this compare to finding a domain name based on my name? I guess it could be good, in a way, because once I secure a domain using my name, it would always belong to me, and I could use it to promote whatever I'm doing at the moment. But also, I'm think that a domain assocociated with a particualr niche, like "Wholistic Health," would also be good because this is an easy phrase for people to remember, and it might rank high in the search results.

I guess I don't know the pros and cons between the two choices, so I keep going back and fourth between the two. I don't want to start building the website and then change my mind, so this is why I'm hesitating with this. Any thoughts on this would be helpful. -Thanks
