Do you experience writer's block? If so, how do you combat it?
Writer's block can mean different things to different people. For instance, one person might describe it exactly the way it sounds: totally blocked. For others, myself included, it could be more like internal resistance to writing. It's not a fun experience either way!
To combat that writer's block or resistance, I've found writing sprints to be really helpful. Something about setting a timer for a short amount of time and only committing to writing until the timer goes off helps me immensely. Plus, once I get going, it's so much easier to KEEP going!
What about you? Do you have any tried and true tips for combatting writer's block or feelings of resistance when it comes to writing? Please share!
