Registered nurse here who has always struggled with weight. I've been 135 lbs, and I've been 235 lbs. Can't seem to pull myself together with this. Looking for inspiration and motivation, and maybe some coaching. I hate exercise, so that might be one of my problems! Hahaha.

I appreciate you, thanks. Unfortunately, there is no exercise that I enjoy. Exercise is painful (yes I know, in a good way). I don't want to sweat. I don't want to be sore. I work 12 hour shifts, on my feet most of the day. When I get home I want to do NOTHING. ๐Ÿ˜‰

Iโ€™m also a nurse and feel you there! I bike to work to help with my fitness and to let my mind run and take a break after those 12โ€™s. Not sure if this is possible for you but it can be really helpful for the mind and body

Hey Stuart! So happy to have you here - this is the place to discover what type of movement you enjoy most. It sounds like you have a pretty active job being on your feet for 12 hours per day. Most of the time, jobs like this can be stressful and hard on the body (and mind). I would recommend a low-impact, low stress activity first to get started. That could be doing 5-10 minutes of gentle mobility in the morning prior to going to work, or possibly hopping on a stationary bike for 10-15 minutes while you watch a show. Anything to intentionally move will help get you going. As you build momentum, you may begin to gain interest in other forms of movement. The key is just getting started ๐Ÿ‘ happy to help support you however we can throughout the journey!
