While I was out having coffee 鈽晈ith my wife this morning...
I got my royalty payment from my licensee in Finland.
$1400 and some change.
Just for giving him "permission" to teach one of my programs in Finland.
There are many people around the world who love to teach but don't want to create lesson plans.
I don't plan on learning Finnish anytime soon馃榾.
So, he gets something proven to teach and it's no skin off my bum.
His Finnish students are kicking rear too!
Win. Win. Win.
Now...
$1400 is not a ginormous sum, but the average rent in the U.S. is $1500.
Covering rent with one royalty deal isn't crazy.
Licensing despite what lawyers would have you think...
Isn't only for big companies.
My licensee is a solopreneur who just wants to teach something that works!
Now...
馃憖Here's a twist. 馃憖
If you would've set this deal up FOR me...as my "licensing agent"...
馃憠You and I BOTH would've got a $700 PayPal this morning.
You and I both would've got a monthly payment every month this year too.
There are millions of creators like me.
There are millions of "teachers" at heart who don't want to create something new but would be happy as a sailor on shore leave to teach something AWESOME!
All you gotta do is put them together for 30% to 50%.
