Introducing Us: Microgreen Farmers! 🌱
Hello! It's nice to meet you! This is where we want people to introduce themselves, and get to know each other. We'll go first: 1. Name: Rob 👨🌾 and Josephine 🧑🌾 2. Age: 33 + 35 3. Location (country/state): USA/UT 4. Wellness Goals: I (Josephine) have always been a bit suspicious of the Western Diet, especially after my mother passed away at age 58 (heart failure). I'm obsessed with figuring out how to "Win" the health thing, and how to heal the body through food! 5. Grow Space + grow medium: 500 sq ft grow room (in our 3 bedroom townhome!) We grow in shallow 10x20 trays, growing microgreens on jute grow mats! 6. Experience: We started growing Microgreens January of 2021, with the first several months getting our feet under us. We landed our first restaurant, and quickly gained experience to grow our clientele of local families getting microgreen orders each Friday. We grow a variety of microgreens, including Pea, Sunflower, Broccoli, Radish, Mustard and Kale. 7. What are you growing that you're excited about right now!: Very interested in expanding our grow room into edible flowers, more microgreen varieties, as well as vegetables like tomatoes, potatoes, and onions!
