I'ts almost time... 🧘‍♂️
Hi everyone! I’ve been reflecting today on what I’m hoping to gain from this 3 day retreat, and here are a few thoughts that came to mind: 1) Life has been a bit hectic lately. I’ve been spending way too much time getting distracted on my phone with work and not enough time in solitude. I’m hoping this retreat will give me the chance to recharge and reconnect. 2) This is an opportunity to learn more about meditation. I’ve learned a lot about the power of mindfulness this last year, and it has helped me to be a lot more present and appreciative. But… there’s still so much more for me to learn and work on. 3) Monks live such simple yet effective lives, which really fascinates me - especially in the tough world we live in today. I’m excited to see what lessons I can take from their way of life and how I can apply them to my own. 4) Over the past year, I’ve connected more deeply with myself spiritually. While I’ve made great progress, I can still let stress, worry, and anxiety get the better of me - something I’d love to gain more control over. I’m excited to share more of my learnings with you all when I return!

“Enjoy being in the process of becoming”
This is a quote I love and often turn to: we can get so focused on the destination that we forget to appreciate the journey. The challenges, discomfort, and hard work may not always be enjoyable, but they’re what shape us in the end. For example, right now, I’m embracing the challenges of the early stages of my entrepreneurial journey. As you may have seen, I’m staying in a dorm with 12 strangers. It’s far from comfortable, but it’s a sacrifice I need to make whilst getting my new ventures off the ground. I can’t afford the luxury life right now - though believe me, I’d love to! 😂 As uncomfortable as it is, I’m reminding myself everyday that this is all part of the process. One day, I’ll look back and realise how valuable this experience truly was. If I don’t embrace and appreciate it now, I’ll regret not enjoying it to the fullest. At the end of the day, this is an amazing life experience - one I’m going to grow so much from. So, I’m focusing on enjoying it as much as I can. I wanted to share this quote with you all as it helps me to stay positive, even when stress or financial worry starts to creeps in. It’s all about shifting your mindset and finding the positives in tough times. Hopefully, this retreat will help me gain even more control over that 🙌

Be Comfortable Being Uncomfortable
Hey everyone, a little update from me. I’m currently on a 10 hour coach ride from Bangkok to Chiang Mai - fun! But it’s giving me the time to sit and reflect. I was discussing comfort zones in my vlog yesterday, but wanted to expand on this a bit further with you all. To truly grow as a person, we have to learn to become comfortable with being uncomfortable. The comfort zone is a beautiful place - it feels safe and familiar. But let’s be honest, nothing good ever grows there, does it? Everything we want in life, whether it’s success or fulfillment, lies on the other side of fear. It’s easy to stay where things feel comfortable - I’ve been guilty of this for most of my life. It’s not always easy, but it’s always worth it. So, if you’re sitting there right now thinking about something that requires you to be uncomfortable and take a risk, just go for it! What’s the worst that can happen? A life of fulfillment or a life of regret? Let’s keep supporting each other on this journey!

Be Comfortable Being Uncomfortable
Delayed Gratification
Hi all, I hope you’re doing well! I have recently been talking about delayed gratification, and I wanted to dive deeper into that with you all here. It can be tough when we don’t see instant results. But you just have to keep reminding yourself that the work we’re putting in today is building the foundation for tomorrow’s success. Progress may seem slow, but it’s all about playing the long game - staying consistent, showing up, and trusting the process. As I often say, just aim to be 1% better every day. Your future self will thank you for the effort you’re putting in now - trust me on that. Keep pushing forward. You didn’t come this far just to come this far. 💫
