When things go wrong!
How do you handle plans getting blown out of the water?
Anger, disappointment, frustration, sadness can all lead to problems with your spouse.
My birthday plans changed when a kiddo came home from school sick and my husband started feeling bad.
Instead of a full day together and going out for dinner … I got to comfort the sweet girl that felt so bad for “ruining” my day.
I get to model to her that we get to create our own experience. And assure her my day was not ruined!
I get to show her my happiness in my relationship with her father is not contingent on 1 Date. That when you have a strong relationship hiccups like these don’t lead to destructive behaviors.
I love that I got this experience, and that my sweet girl was feeling 100% by the evening!💕💕🙌🏼
So the importance of ending my destructive relationships allows me to show up as the best mom possible! And show them what is possible and what to expect!
