Many people in this community aspire to do research but don't know where to start us are scared to begin. Many people say find your passion, which I agree with but how to use this?
- Identify Field of interest ( CS, Econ, Medical, Sciences, etc.)
- If you are unable to find an interest just start consuming as much info as possible watch videos such as kurzgezat and read science related articles ( If you have interest already consume content specific to that step
- Take Notes and you can go to sciencefair.io and go to the guide section where there is notes template take notes while consuming info write certain questions you may have
- Look at these questions you may have and try to identify a problem or what can be changed ( Ex. While researching musculoskeletal and autoimmune diseases I found myself wondering how to detect these ? I then came across biomarkers and after learning more found out that some of these disease did not have specific biomarkers , one of them being Polymagia Rheumatica(PMR). I was able to reach my final question how we can develop novel biomarkers for PMR ?
DONT BE AFRAID all you need to do is start, JUST START and commit a daily 30 min-1 hr to this (can change based on time)
Now you have a question , this is what I am on do a literature deep dive ( Still figuring out this process myself but if you have any questions check out rishabs video )
