Is comparing yourself okay?
I know that this question seems very negative, but I can't help but compare myself to everyone. People my age, younger, older, everyone. But is that necessarily a bad thing?
The thing is, that I want to do big things. I want to do research that I love, win science fairs, get a 1600/36, and get into HYPSM and pursue my dream career.
And the main problem is that I need someone to be real with me.
No one can really be as real with me as myself I guess? I start by looking at what others do so that it inspires or motivates me, but this makes me disappointed since I'm not as amazing as everyone else.
I wanted to hear your guy's thoughts on this, since I feel really behind, and I really want to pursue my goals. What should I do to be motivated to do all of this?
