Hello everyone! I am a rising sophomore starting my first-ever research project. I have always been a curious mind but have never really tried my hand at research. I thought it would be cool so I chose a topic which involved identifying biomarkers to help detect cancers earlier. This is only day one so I have little to no information about the topic. I have done some broad research first, such as why early identification is important and the different methods of testing for cancers. I plan on reading more articles, and papers, and watching videos to learn more about my field of interest. I also plan to post these blogs once a week where I will share my progress and learnings. Make sure to like this post if you want to hear weekly updates and please leave some tips on how to understand higher-level articles, resources, or anything else you think would help me along my journey.
Thanks and wish me the best of luck!
