Can planets have life?

Ik this is a pretty silly question, but as we know that plants have life. They are born, then they die. They also react to many things, but they aren't quite like our animals or us. But doesn't the same go for planets? Planets also are born, they react and then die at some point. They can also create more planets as if those are like their children. So shouldn't they be kinda alive but like plants?
