Lessons Learned: Creating My WBS
After going through the exercise of creating a Work Breakdown Structure, I was surprised at how difficult it was for me to break down the actual work without the expertise of a team. Coming from a tech background I understood at a higher level what would be needed to execute this project, but found breaking things into bitesize subtasks down trickier than I originally thought it'd be. I found System Design to be the easiest main task to break down because I鈥檝e had to do that for work. Development was definitely the hardest for me. To me, this emphasizes the need for your project team and SMEs in their respective areas to be able to plan a project effectively.
