Lately, I’ve been thinking a lot about what it means to move forward—not just out of habit, not just because life keeps going—but with intention.
There have been times in my life where I felt like I was constantly reacting… putting out fires, juggling too many things, saying yes when I really meant no, and hoping things would “settle down” on their own. Spoiler alert: they didn’t.
What’s changed recently isn’t the chaos around me—it’s how I’ve started choosing to respond to it. Instead of running on autopilot, I’ve been asking myself questions like:
- What do I really want this next season to feel like?
- What can I let go of?
- What am I doing just because I’ve always done it that way?
Moving forward with intention doesn’t mean having it all figured out. It means being honest with ourselves, showing up fully present, and deciding—sometimes daily—what deserves our energy and what doesn’t.
For me, it looks like protecting my peace a little more. Saying no more often. Building routines that support me. Choosing joy, even in the middle of uncertainty.
So if you’re in a season of shift or even just trying to do this week a little differently… I see you. You don’t have to have the whole plan. You just need your next intentional step.
Let’s make it count.
What does moving forward with intention look like for you right now?
