Power Engineering Challenges
What would you say is one of the most challenging aspects of being a power engineer in your current role? Specifically relating to working in a team environment?

Not current, but in previous roles, working with the engineering team was always a nightmare. What works on paper isn't always practical in practice. The best engineers were the ones who consulted with the operations team to have a team discussion rather than pushing their changes for the operators to troubleshoot and fix later on.

agreed 100%, for the most part I’ve only experienced this a few times and more often that not it was just Type A personalities. 🤷🏻‍♂️ but haven’t come across it for a long time!

In pursuit of personal excellence, or always improving and doing my best, inadvertently challenging the status quo shedding light on some points of group complacency. What can I say?!

The importance of your role within the organization.
When the equipment is running it is taken for granted/ignored for the most part; but when equipment is down and production comes to a standstill then all eyes are on you.
