The great news is we are now in a position to move full speed ahead! Here are the highlights of what this new DIY Community offers: šŸ’Ŗ We are expanding the community from website builders to cover all aspects of digital marketing (still including our huge range of Squarespace and Hostinger content). šŸŽ“ All of our Udemy courses (currently over 12) will be available as soon as you join this community. In the coming weeks, we will also create courses organising and delivering over 300 of our YouTube videos. šŸ’„ Anyone who reaches level 6 in this community gets 3 months free in our Pixelhaze Coaching Community (worth nearly $300). šŸ’µ This community has now switched to $15 per month, but if you are already in, you get it free for life! šŸ’² We are running a launch campaign - $1 October - for our next 100 members. They will gain access to this community for only $1 per month for life. If you have any friends, family or clients who you think we may be able to help, let them know to earn some brownie points! When should you call in a pro photographer, and when can Photoshop do the job?
I get asked this question frequently during the web design process, especially now that the AI tools in Photoshop make it easier to make impressive tweaks and enhancements. After almost 30 years of using Photoshop, Iā€™ve seen how the updates keep evolving, especially with tools like generative fill and content-aware options. For me, itā€™s simple: when thereā€™s room in the budget, a professional photographer is worth every penny ā€“ you canā€™t beat that quality. But sometimes, calling in a photographer isnā€™t possible, especially when the scene isnā€™t quite ā€˜finished.ā€™ Take my long-time client, Preserved Timber Products (PTP) near Builth Wells, as an example. They create incredible garden buildings, sheds, and offices, all crafted with local timber. But the challenge is capturing these buildings in a picture-perfect setting. This can mean waiting for things like fresh grass to grow or landscaping to be completed around the structure. Photoshopā€™s new AI features are a game-changer for those times, letting me work around unfinished surroundings while keeping the buildingā€™s integrity intact. My job is to enhance but never mislead. If youā€™re running a small business and looking to polish up your existing images or are curious about learning some of these Photoshop tricks, check out my blog via the link below. I also wanted to say a huge thanks to PTP for letting me use their projects for my demos. The quality of their garden buildings is superb, and you can take a look at their work here: https://preservedtimber.co.uk To dive deeper into when to bring in a photographer vs. when Photoshop can help, read the full blog here: https://www.pixelhaze.academy/blog/choosing-between-professional-photography-and-adobe-photoshop

A lil add-on!
Hi all. I've created a little add-on to Squarewebsite's brilliant "Squarespace Custom Table Block Plugin". It let's you customise the colour and font size of the "ticks and crosses" that are fed through from the plugin (default is green and red). Just copy and past it into the "footer" section of the "code injection" settings. (I've added it as a text file so your browsers don't think it's malicious) Ta!
