As a first content based post, here are my recommended Youtube channels for guitarists to check out. This list covers a range of genres and topics like music theory, history and techniques. If I have missed anyone you think is notable be sure to let me know in the comments! Paul Davids https://www.youtube.com/@PaulDavids Focus: Guitar techniques, music theory, and creative playing Paul鈥檚 channel provides tutorials on chord tricks, playing styles, and tone with clear visuals. He also looks at popular riffs and makes his own music! Rick Beato https://www.youtube.com/@RickBeato Focus: Music theory and song analysis Rick鈥檚 videos cover chord progressions, scales, and techniques to better understand music. He also interviews and jams with a lot of famous guitarists like Sting, Tommy Emanuel, Nirvana and many others. Brandon Acker https://www.youtube.com/@brandonacker Focus: Performances, tips and educational videos. Brandon is by far the best classical guitar youtuber. He has extensive videos on tone, guitar care, nail care and performance preparation. If you are a classical guitarist and haven't checked out his channel you MUST do! Andy Guitar https://www.youtube.com/@andycrowley Focus: Beginner lessons and song tutorials Andy offers straightforward acoustic and electric tutorials on chords, strumming, and popular songs for newer players. z Marty Music (Marty Schwartz) https://www.youtube.com/@MartyMusic Focus: Song tutorials and iconic riffs Marty specialises in teaching riffs and songs across various genres and skill levels.
