For those who don't know where to, or how to start earning money online.
As a group of individuals that all seek a similar outcome, location independence and income from online sources, I thought I would update what I have posted before, in terms of my area of speciality "teaching English as a foreign language."
There remains a huge demand for this around the world, and there are still many vacancies out there fro those who want to look at this industry as a means to find a way of moving forward geographically and financially.
In the era of digitalisation, teaching English online has emerged as a popular and lucrative career option. This is especially true for digital nomads who are interested in creating an online income while enjoying the freedom to travel and work from anywhere. Here, we'll explore the top 10 countries actively advertising for online English teachers and a variety of companies that cater to different qualification levels.
"Top 10 Countries Actively Advertising for Online English Teachers." Along with the most popular platforms used for online teaching/learning, and platforms students use to find teachers (download and get prepared, and maybe register with the platforms used by students?)

These countries have a high demand for online English teachers, making them ideal for digital nomads looking to teach English online.
Companies Requiring a Degree and TEFL Certification
For those with a degree and a TEFL certification, there are several companies that offer competitive pay rates. For instance, companies like "iTutorGroup"and "EF Education First" offer an average salary ranging from $18-$22 USD/hour
Companies Requiring Only a TEFL Certification.
If you don't have a degree but hold a TEFL certification, don't worry! There are still plenty of opportunities. Companies like "Preply", "Palfish", and "Amazing Talker" are known to hire teachers without a degree. The average hourly rate for these companies can range from $10 to $45 USD.
Companies Requiring No Formal Qualifications.
Even without formal qualifications, there are companies that allow you to teach English online. "Cambly"and "Twenix"are two such platforms. These companies offer flexibility and the opportunity to start earning from day one. The pay rate can vary, but you can expect to earn between $7 and $15 USD per hour.
The hourly rate is a guide and taken from their websites, some companies allow you to set you own rate, and some will suggest and guide you. And remember to be mindful of the timezone you are teaching in.
Teaching English online is a flexible and rewarding job that suits the lifestyle of a digital nomad. Whether you have a degree, a TEFL certification, or no formal qualifications at all, there's a company out there for you. With students around the world seeking to speak English you can find students from all of the countries listed above.
One key point to remember or take on board, all the companies that offer a platform that you can teach from will charge the student a lot more than what they pay you, and most, if not all, will have some security in place that monitors for "poaching students." So in order to build a private student bank you need to have a way of letting your students know, be it a landing page, a web site, offer free resources with links to your emails etc.
I will do my best to look at each platform over the coming weeks/months to give an in-depth review of each....if that's helpful?
