Pacifier- yes or no?
While we all know how difficult it is to calm a yelling newborn and a pacifier helps a lot, it is important to acknowledge that this is a solution only to be used until the age of 2. Pacifiers restrict the growth of the upper jaw and impede normal tooth eruption. This is how teeth erupt with prolong pacifier use😱

Pacifier- yes or no?
6 ways to effectively ruin your kids´ dental health
1. Give them unlimited amounts of sugar 2. Give them unlimited amount of sugary drinks- a 0.5l Coke has 54g (=13.5 teaspoons) of sugar! The daily recommended total sugar intake is 7 teaspoons. 3. Do not brush their teeth. If they do it themselves, make sure, you don´t check how well they did- especially around the age of 6, when the first permanent teeth start erupting. 4. Encourage the use of a pacifier, especially after the age of 2. 5. When they can, they should breathe through their mouth- this helps the jaws to develop in a wrong growth pattern. 6. When there is a dental visit due, you should definitely tell them about your traumas when going to the dentist and about the pain and the anxiety. Do you have any helpful tips for this?
