Emotions
It is important to realize that an emotion should not be considered a weakness. Emotions provide feedback about your current status. The way you relate to and deal with the emotion can be considered a weakness, but the emotion itself is not. Emotions simply provide the you with “data”.

Pathway thinking
Every goal you set for yourself has multiple pathways. If you're trying to lose weight or start a business, there are a hundred different ways to do it. While it's important to focus on the process, don't get caught up in the "how" too much. Once you start taking action, you'll figure things out along the way. If you're persistent, eventually, you'll reach your destination.

Focus on the process not the result
Whatever your goal is, ideally you want to create a consistent action (habit) or lifestyle that supports the outcome you desire. For example, if you want to lose weight, the goal isn't to lose 15 pounds (end-state goal), the goal is to eat healthy and exercise daily (process goal). When you turn your actions into the goal itself, that's when you start to build better habits and see lasting change.
