What music worlds do you orbit?

Heyo!

I'd love to know what kind of music you make and what got you into it.

I was always into a wide range of music. I remember loving the cute and catchy "Taxman" by the Beatles, knarly guitars of "Running With The Devil" by Van Halen and the weird sounds in Beck's "The Information" as a kid.

I've been playing guitar for 15+ years. Started off learning song from Metallica, Van Halen, Deep Purple and immediately was interested in making my own songs & riffs.

Fast forward - I went down the extreme metal rabbit hole in my teens and started learning stuff like Opeth and expanding my tastes to other bands like Radiohead and trippy electronic music like Shpongle

I caught the "progressive" bug... that eventually led me to playing with the band I'm in now called Dizzy Mystics that's a weird mix of Incubus, Zappa, Yes and modern rock/metal flare.

More recently I've discovered Ableton + Push as an instrument, chilled out, and like exploring psychedelic rock, jazz harmony, psydub sound design and weird organic samples.
